Growth starts today.
Healing is a process that can take time and often involves some speed bumps, and occasionally even steep hills. But our experience has made us confident that, with the right support and care, a patient can overcome adversity and transform their struggles into strength.

Greetings! I’m Samantha. I’m so glad you’re here.
I believe that every person’s journey is unique, and I’m honored that you’re considering sharing yours with me. Therapy can be a powerful space for growth, reflection, and healing, and I’m here to help you navigate that path. I hold a master’s degree in social work (MSW, RSW, RSSW) and a BA in sociology, which regularly informs and enriches my work. I am a dual registrant in good standing with the OCSWSSW.
Having studied groups, societies, and individuals extensively, I focus on connecting our personal struggles to larger systemic realities. Much of my learning comes from the sharing, witnessing, honoring, and collaborating I do with my clients. I am deeply appreciative of and inspired by those I work with, and I’m always striving for self-betterment in my practice.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I bring a range of relevant personal and professional experiences that complement my approaches to healing. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Psychoeducation, Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Narrative Therapy (NT).
Additionally, I take a holistic approach to therapy, emphasizing the powerful connection between mind and body, going beyond traditional cognitive-based methods. While many modalities target the mind alone, my somatic approach integrates physical sensations with emotional healing, helping clients process trauma and release stored tension. This allows for deeper, more lasting transformation. I offer a supportive space for those seeking balance, healing, and personal growth. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, families, couples, and groups experiencing challenges such as bereavement, anticipatory grief, complex trauma, relationship issues, chronic illness, addiction, dysregulation, anxiety, chronic stress, and life transitions.

I am passionate about my role as an empathic listener, an inquisitive collaborator, a sturdy witness, and a holder of trust. I strive to create a comfortable, relaxed, safe, and down-to-earth environment in session, and I use collaboration as the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I also value direct feedback from clients on how I can support them better in working toward their healing goals.
